Apr. 1st, 2004 11:20 amWoke up at 11am today. I appear to be getting an hour later every day. Now I need to get my MMS work done and get out to town... this could take a while.

1. What is your middle name?
I have no middle name.
2. If you had been born the other sex, did your parents tell you what your name would have been?
Yes. I can't remember what it is, though. Possibly they told me that they would have been a bit stuck, given how much deliberation it took for them to find this one.
3. Do you have children and if so, what are their names?
No.
4. If you were to ever have a child or more children, what would you name them?
I once wrote a short story in which I did have children. (Or various different versions of me had children, anyhow.) They were called Yamsin and Kalia and Daniel and David. (And Prini and Yamsyn, and they had other names, but anyhow.)
5. Most people know their mother's maiden name, but do you know your grandmother's maiden name?
No; I only know my mother's maiden name because it is my grandmother's surname.
6. Did you have an imaginary friend as a child?
'An' imaginary friend? Although come to think of it, just about all of my childhood imaginary friends had some kind of basis in reality (i.e. they were either versions of people I knew or they were toys that I owned or they were characters from books I'd read) - I wasn't very original. My imaginary Best Friend, f'rinstance, was Thomas the Tank Engine.
Of course, I then had a whole bunch of imaginary friends via the Ravine, but I feel that's probably different.
7. What was the name of your first pet?
Hammy. The hamster. I named him. I was three at the time.
8. If you have pet(s) now, what are their names?
We decided we were too selfish to keep pets.
9. What was the name of the first person you ever kissed?
I'll go with being exceedingly literal here, and say 'probably my mother'. People always seem to jump to assumptions not stated in that kind of question; for instance, I suspect many single people's 'last kiss' was some relative or other...
10. What was the name of the school you attended as a child?
Bocking Church Street County Primary School, and Chelmsford County High School For Girls. Lovely tedious names for which there is never space on forms.
11. What was/is the name of your English teacher in high school?
Miss Clarke; Mr Z (can't remember how to actually spell his name); those are the only two I can remember that I actually had.
12. Do you name your vehicles? What are the name(s)?
For some reason, I don't name my vehicles. My current car is occasionally known as the Pathetic Lion, as a method I used to remember the letters of the numberplate and hence identify it amongst tons of similar cars. (Now, of course, I can just look for the huge dent in the front...)
