DWCon

I have been vaguely planning to go to DWCon this year, but I haven't been organised enough to orgainise stuff, like room sharing. Um. Would the people on my list who are going to DWCon like to help me out here?

Mnh. Am still unreasonably tired, to the point of barely being able to drag myself out of bed in the mornings. Plus, I have now lost *both* my hats. I lost one at the Compsci Formal last night; I think I just left it under the table. I have no idea how to go about finding it. And it's cold, although it's obviously not as cold as it was when it snowed, so maybe I just feel cold due to being tired and having no hat.

This would be your regular scheduled dose of Whiny Procrastination, then.

Despite meaning to have a shower an hour and a half ago, I've failed to do so due to having Shiny KDE of Shininess to play about with. I now have Shiny Terminals of not quite optimum shininess because I can't work sed and hence re-write the eterm config file with 'use all these shiny pictures in this directory, look? see? shiny!', a taskbar full of useful shiny icons, and, uhm, no taskbar space.

But, ooh, look, shiny!

Despite general bouncy of shininess, I am actually rather tired and irritable and liable to create Shouty Doom at anyone who comes near me. Also I have no idea how to make the Shiny Psion Tools of Shininess talk to my USB/Serial cable, which is a shame, because they look very shiny indeed, including a proper clipboard-transfer thing, so I might possibly be able to start making informative day-style LJ posts like I used to.

Given that I skipped CICCU stuff in order to have a shower and go to sleep (oh, and to avoid having to deal with People and hence creating Shouty Doom as mentioned previously) I suspect I ought to do at least the latter in fairly short order. G'night.
