Feb. 1st, 2004 09:14 pmThere was much random sparring (between the party, as the party got split up and the DM could only really do anything with one player at a time) in D&D today; Naath actually got to summon some celestial badgers, which she was tremendously excited about, and then a dwarf called Mad Max informed the party that the world was a giant mushroom, and of course then the next random sparring session was with a snake. (The snake died quite boringly to the paladin.) I also managed to convice the group that I couldn't cook and that me being around knives was a bad idea (to the point where Kathrine gently disarmed me).
After D&D I followed
passage around because I couldn't be bothered to walk back to Chu and then out into town again, so I ended up going to Eden Baptist. It gave me the same impression as it did last time; all the correct elements are there, the talk was very good, but in some indefinable way they didn't really seem to fit together right. Afterwards there was a Student Meal, which I duely attended (free food!), and then there was an asking-questions-of-someone-presumably-important time, which I was duely told off afterwards for being rude and trying to discuss and counter-point things in the gaps instead of waiting for my turn to come up (and things to go by). Unfortunately I have a very strong debating streak. (My points weren't all that useful either, just debating counterpoints really.)
I was tempted by a C1 bus on my way back, but I decided to retreat to my room andwork sleep spod mindlessly for a bit.
