Dec. 3rd, 2003 05:50 pmI think, however, that 'the people' is a reasonably good answer to both questions, although it's something of a cop-out.
What do I like most about Cambridge? The people. The people who feed me when Hall is closed, who look after me when I get edgy or upset, who give me the impetus to actually go out and do things.
What is worst about Cambridge? The people. The vacant, swarming masses that I don't know and never will; the crowds of drunkards that intimidate me on my way home; the people with no homes that I have no idea how to even begin to help.
I think most everything else falls somewhere between good and bad, or is equally present everywhere.

Dec. 3rd, 2003 11:13 pmFrom the sore throat and the way I've drained over two litres of water today, I suspect I have a cold coming. This is quite irritating.
I appear to be gradually getting stuff to do, which is useful. Maybe I'll get some sleep tonight in order to actually wake up in time for my DoS meeting tomorrow morning (10am, which I haven't been making for the past couple of days). On the other hand, maybe I'll just sit and spod until the early hours.
I have some work left to do and I really, really need to ring the shrinks to cancel my appt on the 8th, but I can't find the right number for the second and the first requires both a brain and a tuit supply, both of which are rather lacking.
