New Haylar.

I tried working with The GIMP again, but it's just so *wrong* after using PSP4 exclusively for ages. Plus it doesn't let you hold two colours at once and use one with the left and one with the right button, which is a very useful thing to be able to do, and I can't work out how it calculates what to take and what to leave when you 'paste into' from another graphic, it seems horribly arbitary, and I do a lot of pasting into for Haylar, as well as needing two colours at once, and I haven't found the 'colour substitution' button either.

If PSP4 had unlimited levels of undo (or even about 5 or so, rather than 1) then it would be really, really good. I was hoping that GIMP would be more customisable (in the area of basic functioning, not filters and layers and other such gizmos only required for doing Real Artwork, which I'm incapable of) but it doesn't look like it's going to be any good, not with a *context menu* eating my right mouse button. Ick to context menus in graphics packages.

Yesterday's wandering-around-Chelmsford. )Fun with teachers. )
In other news, I think I'm beginning to like the outdoors and the sun too much. I'm meant to be a pale nerdy-goth, dammit! I blame Del for this. (For no good reason, but she's fun to blame.)

Yup, it's more New Haylar!

I've booked up for my Theory Test (9th of May), confirmed my UCAS offers (Cam first, then York, because me=sheep), written a stupid letter to the doctors' surgery because I didn't lie on a form and now all heck has broken loose over my gym membership even though I don't even *go* any more because the weather's nice enough for walks *deep breath*, done some more STEP maths and finished another question (although both of my finished questions are 'easy' ones, one of them's Q1 on a paper and today's was a mechanics one), gone driving and almost crashed a few times (y'know, that give way to the *right* at roundabouts thing, also being ploughed into the curb by the bus due to parked cars), and I *still* don't feel productive. That'll be PMT, then.
