Today I bought weird goth and hippy clothes at the cool clothes stall in town. They are all velvety and brightly coloured, except for the goth thing which is black with black lace. It is run by a short round woman in a rainbow coat and an aging hippy guy with a long white ponytail.

Since then I have mostly sat around and done nothing online. I've also been messing with dollmaker things again, because I am feeling miserably uncreative right now. (Talking of being creative, new Haylar is up already for today.) Some of the results can be found here.

Oh, and did I mention we have a pretty pink fiberoptic tree? That's all different colours when you switch it on? And has iridescent pink baubles and foil? And says 'With Lilac Balls' on the packaging?

And now we also have our normal pretty multicoloured fairy lights, around the CD player / record deck rather than around the tree as usual, because the tree really doesn't need more lights. They look very pretty, especially as it is a black sound system on a clear glass shelf.

I now have over 2,000 words of Quiet Ones drivel, plus a 19-year timeline, plus a rough idea of what the city they live in looks like. They want me to write about them. I haven't even finished editing my NaNoNovel yet! At least I have plenty of Haylar in hand for the moment, so I don't need to worry about drawing more of that for a while, just colouring it. I need to do this silly General Studies paper sometime, too, but it's awkward doing any homework at home with my parents here; the only free table is in the 'dining room', which is just archwayed to the lounge, so either they distract me or have to go away and hide in other bits of the house, which is inconvenient for them. (Doing homework is not a spectator sport.)
