Whee, I like my name.
(from this site stolen from [livejournal.com profile] napoleonherself's LJ - wonder if this one will make the meme list?)
Michelle
(Hebrew)
~ meaning ~
Who is like God?
I knew this from another site; I do love this meaning
~ motivation ~
Guided by ambition
When I have any, except the rather wooly general-purpose one of being good.
~ character ~
Always under control
I guess I am fairly in control of myself; and I'd love to be always under control.
~ feelings ~
A person who is loving and caring
Warm-fuzziness-alert!
~ intelligence ~
Uses their imaginative mind productively
This depends how you define 'productive', but ah well, I'd like to do this...
~ spiritual ~
Believes in others
This is a bit vague and wooly, but as long as it means 'believes everyone has the capacity for good and can be saved and is loved by God and is highly valuable and precious' I agree.
~ nature ~
Has a thoughtful and considerate nature
*explodes due to compliment overload*
~ inherent ~
Others look up to you
Surprisingly often, actually. Or at least they pretend to.

This one isn't bad, either...

Chessy
~ Chesna ~
Must use this name for a character sometime...
(Slavic)
~ meaning ~
Peaceful
See why I like this one too now?
~ motivation ~
Wants to be respected
Yup. Mainly by myself, tho.
~ character ~
Defiant under pressure
Heh heh heh. This one's the best entry under this name.
~ feelings ~
A person who is loving and caring
Again.
~ intelligence ~
An ability to comprehend
My main talent.
~ spiritual ~
An uncomplicated person
There's no such thing as an uncomplicated person. A person is by definition compicated. That's why biologists have so much trouble applying mathmatical models; humans are just too complex.
~ nature ~
Considered to be obliging
This could be good, and it could be bad. It's also often true, when taken in context with the above entry about defiance.
~ inherent ~
A cultured person
I don't care for this bit, I generally dislike 'culture' on principle. What principle, I'm not quite sure yet. A good definition of 'culture' would be a starting point. I'm sure as wiht most wide-ranging concepts, some of it is good and some is bad.
