Today at school I had fun. The Physics homework was harder than it looked (well, it was when you did it by maths rather than scale drawings), so Helena and I spent an hour going over it and still weren't convinced our answers were right (Naath went over it later and got the same answers, and in the lesson it turned out we *were* right), and I had lots of fun. But the Physics teacher struggled with the questions herself (she hadn't understood it quite and therefore was having to work them out as we went through) and said she'd bin that worksheet and give us easier questions. Grr, that was good! So, I don't hold out much hope for school improving in difficulty.

Oh, and Sath, locking your LJ appropriately is a Good Thing - I was reading without logging on because Helena was reading over my shoulder, but your latest entry isn't locked...

So, spent most of the day with Helena, including lunch (went to Wimpy's, 'cos Helena has discovered that canteen food is indeed mush and plastic and didn't have a packed lunch). Sath caught up a few times, but not that much... she seems to be hanging around more with Vikki and Liz. Caught up with Naath at lunchtime and for the free after. Walked down to the station with Helena - she catches the train in the other direction.

Met up with Holly at the station and caught up with her, this is a good thing.

More later.

This morning I almost got run over by a lorry - *twice*. Yup, same lorry. It came down the windy little roads between our house and the station at the same time as four or so other cars (some of which were big people-mover-things), so one of the people-mover-things decided to start reversing towards me threateningly. Ran down the road away from it back to where the hedgerow goes back a bit so I didn't have to jump in the nettles. Then the lorry came past, so I waited for it all to clear and carried on (towards the bit with really thick hedgerow and the river). Then I heard lorry-reversing-noises, and looking around saw the lorry was turning around. I tried to hurry up but wasn't quick enough, and just about had time to choose the least threatening patch of hedgerow before the lorry came past again. Just as well I set out in plenty of time for my train...
