Jan. 29th, 2001 06:20 pmAh, today. Today I wrote some more poetry - during German class. (Unfortunately it's not in German, although I have been known to write poetry in that language when I've actually been doing German in a German lesson just beforehand.) However, I'm far too lazy to go fetch the notepad, so instead you'll be treated to an essay on 'me', as I'm explaining that to someone already.
'Me' is a complicated thing.
The first level is the person sitting here typing this. Despite her best efforts, she's still usually known as Michelle, although she's trying to rectify matters. She wakes up at 6:30 (got an alarm clock this weekend, so my mother wouldn't have to keep waking me up), goes to school, writes poetry, comes home, and spods. She normally goes to bed at about 10pm, although often comes off the computer at 9pm.
The next one is M'cachessilnath - the ridradegorn. Made up of M'chel, who is a perfectly normal human being - well, biologically speaking at any rate - and Cassinath, a white dragon, this is (as you can see from my given name on here) what I spend most of my time as. Mildly complicated, M'cachessilnath leads in addition to the vaguely normal life detailed above a second life in a place called Thabana Weyr, with the rest of the components of 'me'.
The other components are M'ra and Miprinittichel. M'ra is a sentient feline (she in fact has a blue dragon, Drath, but I refuse to admit Drath as part of me given that blue dragons are meant to be sporty, and I most certainly am not). I like to compare myself to a feline, although usually I don't even start on the 'graceful' bit. Quite a lot of the parts of me I refuse to admit come from M'ra.
Miprinittichel is again a combination; a girl called (unimaginatively) Minichel, who is simply me at about 6 years of age, and a white firelizard known as Pritti (misspelling of 'Pretty' fully intentional), representing a similarly smaller version of Cassinath. Miprinittichel represents both the side of me which tends to giggle and dance around and otherwise be 'silly', and the part of me which despite my best efforts likes small children. (This is becoming very annoying, as I was planning on never developing any kind of maternal feelings whatsoever.)
Of course, I haven't mentioned the fire-lizards; about 18 named ones, and hundreds of interchangable, mainly blue and green ones, which are there to act as a distributed network for additional brainpower, backup facilities, and remote viewing of situations. They are very useful when attempting to write oneself out of corners.
Anyhow, I hope I've confused everyone thoroughly, given that's one of my aims in life, and I think that's quite enough randomness for now. Until next time, then.
