I now have roughly 7000 words of random HP fanfic, 5000 of which are vaguely associated with Footsteps (Lucius/Severus/Hermione - no, Naath, *not* all at the same time, and in fact not romantically at all) and 2000 of which are associated with Eyes of Jade (Blaise Zabini, possibly eventually degenerating into Draco/Ginny quasi-songfic). I actually have an entire plot, complete with dramatic action scenes, for Footsteps. As for Eyes of Jade, it's hovering between 'almost as bad as Kestra' and 'significantly worse than Kestra', and looks like a poorly disguised Mary Sue fic with added background angst. (Note to self: Green eyes are almost as bad a sign as purple ones. Especially when combined with long black hair.) I might feed people snippets of these if encouraged (nobody commented on the first chapter of Footsteps (what I posted on this journal being the prologue; I then took the chapter to ![[livejournal.com profile]](https://www.dreamwidth.org/img/external/lj-community.gif)
storyness) which I posted, so I haven't posted story-stuff since), because let's face it, they desperately need feedback (mostly in the form of 'bad idea. no, worse than that. go back to writing bad 'original' SF/fantasy instead of bad fanfic.', I guess). And I still can't write Mylar's Crossing, or finish editing The Sky Goes On And On For You And Me, even less give it a better title, which it desperately needs.
Oh yes, and I have these little things called exams going on, too, but we won't worry about them too much.
