How long have you been on LJ?
Over a year; almost two. (First post on 29th Jan 2001.)
Do you post every day?
No. Occasionally I feel I ought to, but I don't think I ever will.
Are you pathetically addicted?
Only when I'm desperately trying not to do something important, or am otherwise bored. Otherwise I'm only reasonably addicted. I do not like my friendspage to get beyond skip=100. It makes me edgy.
Do you have a paid account?
Yes, thanks to
passage... the money wouldn't have been a problem, but I'm glad he's willing to deal with the hassle of Paypal...
Have you bought anyone else a paid account?
No, I can't deal with PayPal, or trying to work out some other way to get money to the US.
Do you know everyone on your friends/friend of list?
Define 'know'. I've spoken to over IM and talkers practically all of both lists (I don't think I've ever actually had a conversation with
dashdot, despite having seen her online quite a lot; ditto
stipe). Some of them I haven't talked to all that much, though. I certainly haven't met all of them IRL.
Are you on your friends list?
Yes. I like to be able to see my own comment counts on my friendspage, and how recently I've posted compared with everyone else, and spot things when they post wrong or mess up page layouts; then again, the real reason is that I wanted to see more of my userpics, because I chose them carefully and I like them...
Do you have any "pity friends" on your list (i.e., you don't really like them but they put you on their list and you can't get rid of them)?
I used to, but I cleared most of them out, and then the last one unfriended me first.
Do you randomly look for other people to add to your list?
Only when I'm *very* bored. And I don't think I've lastingly friended anyone like that. Most of my ljfriends either friended me first, or I know them from someplace else, or I saw them commenting on a friends journal / on a friend's friendslist.
Do you have more than one livejournal, or did you ever (i.e., as a gag)?
I have
storyness, specifically for posting prose.
For those on your friends list that you know, did you meet most of them other places (IRL, other places on the net) or did you meet them via LJ?
Mostly other places online. There's quite a contingent from XF, too. A couple of them are from them friending me on LJ.
Do you get twitchy if you can't check/update your LJ?
Yes.
Do you compose LJ entries in your head when away from the computer?
Nah. I compose them on my Psion instead.
Have you written surveys/personality tests/etc just so you could post the results on your LJ/see your friends post their results on LJ?
Yes. I wrote one survey for my friends to post, and one webtest just so I could say that I was Monosodium Glutamate. (It's evil Javascript which doesn't work right. I copied it off someone else, and badly, because theirs works right. I have a few dozen people across the net linking to it still, though.)
Do you actually put thought into your answers for these things?
Occasionally.
