Do you know how many languages use '!=' as 'not equal', or, alternatively, how many don't?

(Acorn) BASIC doesn't (it uses <>)
Haskell doesn't (it uses /=)
Oberon doesn't (it uses #)

A lot of the basics use <>, qbasic did, I have a feeling that AMOS did as well.
But C uses != and as C forms the basis of collective concious thought of programmers it is of course The Right Way(tm) of doing things.

Drat it, you've actually written a Haylar which is witty.
But it's still majorly over narrated, so I'm going to carry on making fun of it regardless.

This is the last overnarrated one - the last one of the batch from before you told me off about overnarrating it.

I don't like the sound of this, you mean that soon I'll have to deal with Haylar's which are witty and aren't overnarated?
How will I make fun of them?
Am I going to be left trying to make fun of something good and so looking stupid?
Am I going to have to start liking Haylar?
Tune in next week for the exciting conclusion!

I doubt much Haylaring is going to be happening at XF... I *might* get episode 25 out on Saturday, though.
