It is getting on for Maelstrom O'Clock! I normally jump on the Event Anticipation Meme, but I'm afraid this one might be a bit short and pessimistic.

I will probably have a Tolerable event if all of the following occur:

1. The car does not break down.
2. I do not fail hard at camping and have to come home early.
3. The respiratory illness which has been threatening to materialise doesn't leave me incapable of speech or completely destroy me to the point of needing to go home early.

I may have a Good event if the following occur:

1. I get to finish the conversations I should have had with people over the season before time in
2. I do not cry into my breakfast at any point
3. I do not blame myself for IC failure or get OOC upset about it
4. I do not run completely out of things to do and end up reduced to mournfully wandering around the field hoping that something interesting happens
5. I manage to make my Hilarious Prop and someone likes it
6. I find all of my kit and do not suffer any kind of There Is A Hole In This / My Soul Symbol Is 'Illegible Squiggle' fail

I might have a Great event if any of the following occur:

1. More than about 20% of the field get themselves killed hilariously, or at least have a pretty good go
2. My character gets to hideously break down and tell someone The Truth, for various values of The Truth
3. My character gets to have Deep Philosophical Conversations with the people I want them to have Deep Philosophical Conversations with
4. I actually manage to complete any of my IC or OC goals for the event / the character, including 'get declared kill-on-sight by at least one group'...

i could totally declare you kill on sight if it would help? :)

of course knowing my group this would spark a raging argument about the best and most creative way to "kill" you which would probably rage past sunday

I reckon you'll be having a great event ;)
