I went to the LJ picnic today. I got distracted by Oxfam on the way and bought some new jeans (I am running out of trousers that fit, because I have become Fat and I can't be bothered to un-become Fat) and a green top to go with my Dryad kit. Then I sat around talking about not very much until it was 9:30pm and dark and we were the last ones left, and I came home with some cakes. Except actually I went to Churchill because I'd meant to spend the evening packing for Maelstrom, but then I drove back to Oblivion because my computer is here. Now
tienelle is sewing his Maelstrom kit frantically.
Nothing else interesting has happened since my last entry. I read 'V for Vendetta' and went to work and slept. I almost ran out of cash because I still don't know where my cash card is, but I found £60 lying around my room at Churchill from where I'd taken out lots of money for the last Malestrom, so I now have some money, although I spent £15 of it in Oxfam (where I also got some food for the picnic).
It's strange how most people my age are just starting life, and I feel that my life is almost over, or at least set into a pattern which it is unlikely to leave for quite some time.

Btw, Everyone's re-reading V for Vendetta. Dark, dark, dark, and as sharp now as it ever was.
