chess: (something)

(no subject)

Today I woke up at about 11am, decided I'd basically missed all the lectures I cared about, ate breakfast in order to take medicine on time, but as it was really quite late it wasn't really on time anyway, so I got to curl up and wait for the pain to go away for a bit.

Now I ought to do some supervision work, but all I really want to do is write strange short stories or read Bruno again.

Also, I flunked NaNoWriMo, with a grand total of 32,950 words. So I have one extra-long dull write-up of a fictional LARP event from several different perspectives, and a half-finished, somewhat half-hearted LARP system which nobody is ever going to use because the LARP group here already have a fully-formed system based on an entirely different mythology. (Also it's meant to be a deep, involved, evolved system, so it isn't much good for one-off events, and it's not in any way a decent tabletop system.)

I could write diaryness, but that would take more reasearch into the brief notes I've been keeping than I can muster the brainpower for.

32,950 is a lot of words - will you be finishing at leisure?

*flunked* NaNoWriMo?

You really do have a strange view of the world some days.

Don't knock yourself; you wrote 32,950 words more than I did.
