(no subject)

Mm, people keep friending me. I'm not sure why, because I certainly don't think I post anything interesting any more; I whine about life, and I post boring snippets of stuff.

If I could get some of the stuff off my Psion, maybe I'd post that, but I don't currently have a Psion cable and I've just royally screwed up getting stuff onto a CF card (I think my card slot might be slightly busted).

As I have no time, I started poking at the NaNoNovel before last again; every time I look at it I want to 'improve' it, but I'm not sure what is actually better style and what's just my style changing (maybe for the worse). I also started reading Night Watch, but not at times when I wasn't too tired to appreciate it.

Oh, nothing worrying. I just got this message from a username I didn't recognise saying, "How do you get out a CF card that's in the wrong way?" and so I gave some suggestions. I saw you were the only AIM buddy I had online, so assumed you'd just changed your name - for some reason, it hasn't added Chess for me :(

Then we talked about spodding, drunk mums spodding, D&D, etc.

I had a rather restless night and one or two funny dreams - I'm a little disorientated today!

Well, I don't know about other people, but I friended you because I found you on CambridgeWiki and noticed you're also on Wikipedia and LiveJournal. :-) This is assuming I'm not confusing you with someone else; you are "ChessyPig", right?

Well, I added you at first because in my manic enthusiasm for getting into NaNoWriYe I friended averyone else who had it as one of their interests. Since then I've pruned my list quite a bit but like reading your entries as a) they are interesting and well-written b) they remind me of my five years in Cambridge (BA, CUSU, MPhil).
