Sitting down 'to work' with a Net connection is never going to work.

I don't seem to be able to wake up / settle to anything today. I've done my maths work (as predicted, the *actual* question I was *meant* to be doing was reasonably trivial), but that's hardly much. Also, I appear to have helpfully destroyed my respiritory system, or at least introduced quite prodigious quantities of bleedingness into it. Ugh.

I still need to sort out this book thing for school (by the end of January). I mentioned in passing to my parents that the current front-runner was a PHB, and they didn't seem too happy with the idea, so I don't know what to do now. I don't want a book that's more expensive and I have to pay something towards, because I dislike buying books. The last 'interesting but worthy' book I got is still sitting on the shelf, 2/3 unread and looking mournful. The only interesting textbook-like books are too expensive...

Oh well. Never mind.

What's a PHB?

Which would be
1)Usefull
2)Silly looking

And you weren't going to go a buy one were you? I think it's a good idea.

Eats, Shoots and Leaves. A worthy but really rather fun book on punctuation, and proper use thereof. About a tenner.

I saw that in WHS. Looked fun....

What is this book thing?

Also, most D&D books can be easily obtained as PDF files online, but then that isn't very legal so schools may frown upon it.
