Having been unkindly woken up by a member of the Housekeeping staff who was convinced I had left, I know now why I wasn't to go to church this morning - it was so I didn't get into a ton of trouble for the appallingly non-clean state of my room...

I think I might have scared her when I rose slowly out of the bed going something like 'aaghrnmfl'.

I'd like to be still asleep, but I'm not sure I can easily get back to sleep, and anyway I need to learn my lines and stuff.

I do like having inspections only once every three months; beats having bedders invade my privacy every morning. I'd prefer to have my own house and be accountable only to myself, but it'll be a long time before I can afford that in Cambridge ...

I would so be dead if I had bedders - I rely on being able to sleep in to 11 every other day...
