How does this thing work?

You sign up to the thingamy and answer a bunch of personality questions on the way; it then compares your answers with other people's answers and gives you a 'compatibility' score. (There's also a dating service attached, but you can mostly ignore that bit.)

What am i sposed to put as a zip code? I alwase get this on american web sites. I normaly lie with randome numbers but i aint sure?

Sorry Michelle ive tried 6 or 7 times maybe more and it still donnt work. Zip codes dont meen anything. At least you can determine location with a postcode.

Thats what i ment by having tryes 7 times. i ent i did randome numbers about 7 times and it kept comming back with the invallied zip code message. Becides im unlikely to be compaterble with alyone. Its only a bit of fun so dont worry.

Zip codes don't have as much information as a postcode, but here are three important things to know to get along with them:

1. They stand for post offices, not final destinations. Each post office in the US has a number.

2. They run east to west; low numbers are on the east coast and high numbers are on the west coast. (10000, the first zip code, is in New York.)

3. If you type a zip code into Google, you get a link which will show you a map of the town and its name.

Canadian postal codes, though, are Just Completely Weird.

I was slightly wrong, btw: some places in New England have zips beginning with a zero.
