chess: (trivial (Surveys/webtests/amusing junk))

This is your fault. You know who you are.

Second poll kept anonymous for honesty purposes. You can rely on my innate laziness that I can't be bothered to look through all the responses to it, or remember them when I've done so, anyway.

I found the second poll a little difficult. I don't think people would usually describe me as scary, but I have on occasion been called scary. These have all I think referred to my habit of sitting quietly in conversations listening, since people never seem to be quite sure what I'm thinking.

Uh, first poll, even. Thinko.

I *think* that the poll is exploring the kind of scary where you want backup before you enter the same room as them, but perhaps it's also intending to explore what people think of as scary.

The limit isn't on the polls themselves, but rather in the poll creator. If you hand-created (or use the creator and then fiddle the code) then you can have more than 15 items per question.

(and I didn't vote on the second poll, because I don't find any of those people scary. not that I know very many of them, mind)

This poll is flawed: it will tell you who is scary AND well known. Ideally it should be "do you find [person]:
scary, not scary, don't know them"
Tho I'm not sure how you'd set that up in LJ's poll system.

People used to think I was scary, and now I get 1 and Firinel gets 6. Do I play the Boswell to her Johnson?
