Eep. Cassy killed Deshiik. That wasn't meant to happen. I guess it was the logical outcome of that scene (which is my 'ending'), looking back on it, but it wasn't meant to happen like that...

Honestly, my characters are getting out of hand. First Jenann decides she's going to sleep around, and now Cassy's turned into a murderer. Great. It's meant to be Duenda who's the vicious killer type - but *she*'s being a good little girl and just letting people be mean to her...

Ah well. Under 4000 words to go. Maybe it'll make more sense when I redraft it. If I don't just forget it and go back to writing Kestra, who at least has managed to be consistantly annoying and obnoxiously arrogent, as designed.

Well, there you go. Characters consistantly surprise me, too. For one, they show up from nowhere and take over storylines, like Iago and Zan did. *frets* I really ought to write. *kicks essay*
