Ugh. My Psion's backup battery decided to pick *today* to give up the ghost.

This means:
1. A whole bunch of TH notes have gone down the pan, along with maps and stuff.
2. I won't have a reliable Psion for the next goodness-knows-how-long until we can get our hands on another backup battery. Anyone notice tomorrow's date? So much for NaNoWriMo, huh?
3. The first attempt of mine at coding for *months* has also gone down the drain. This does not restore my confidence.
4. I am not a particularly happy bunny.

Were you changing the normal batteries at the time or something?

The normal batteries just ran down, as they often do, and sometime between them running down and me getting a set that weren't also dead (my spare batteries, predictably, having somehow mysteriously lost their charge in my bag) the backup battery gave out.

I was only coding a trivial dice-rolling thingamy (you input n:adb+c, it rolls n adb and adds c) but it's still annoying.
