I am marginally amused and slightly worried about how many 'tell me a secret' polls there are. It's one of the types I'm skipping. (The others are music, SO-applications and anything I don't think I ought to be answering. I also skip some others on taste grounds or can't-think-of-an-answer grounds, but those four are the main ones.)

The only one I've seen that allowed people other than the author to see the answers was, unsurprisingly, not answered by anybody.

Those "tell me a secret" polls crack me up. Tell you a secret? Uhhh ... it's a secret. If I tell someone, it's not a secret any more, is it?

But then, I rarely answer polls in the first place. In general, they strike me as being somewhat too easy. I'd rather write a thousand words about "secrets I don't tell people" than answer a dozen multiple choice questions without any answers that actually match what I think.

Hmm. Now I'm going to have to actually go write a thousand words about secrets I don't tell people. I wonder what I'll write? "I have a secret, I have a secret, neener-neener-neener!"? Not very interesting so far! ;)

Are you like me, chess? I don't answer music polls because I don't know any of the names. I'm so random about music anyway.

I know some of the names, courtesy of my father. I'm just not sure how to label my taste in music. In fact, I'm not sure I *have* a taste in music, apart from the fact I like it to be music (i.e. have some kind of tune, not just electronic noise, dull monotonic rap or an annoying beat) and have vaguely intelligable (as in you can make out the words) lyrics (which means classical music isn't it, nor are some forms of annoying dance music not covered by the 'it has to be music' bit).

yeah, me too. Though I kinda like *playing* clasical music, it's an interesting challenge... I don't particularly think that I have a fave. band/singer, or even a fave. song.
