the amount of 'hits' you get against your machine varies depending on your ISP. When with BT, I used to get lots of hits against port 80 - this was when nimda was doing the rounds. Since I switched to Demon, I get hardly any (say 5 over a 12 hour period, instead of in the hundreds with BT)
