Caesar wrote De Bello Gallico (a text which has survived in full and was frequently used as an introduction to Latin),which is something that was agreed upon by a very large number of contemporary and subesequent Roman authors; we have no equivalent writing in anywhere near as much detail for the Resurrection. This is a silly example.
