I ran out of spod, and ended up playing Torment. So I had 'net access, but didn't use it. And suffered repeated party death - "All pile in, even the mages" doesn't really work against anything much harder than vargouilles. So I missed, to my cost, a ChessyPig, who, incidentally, would have to put in some serious effort to ming at all. That sentence may have used up my comma allocation for the day. Fortunately it's now tomorrow.
If you can't manage a DB game, you could always turn it into a Lunars game. Only cosmetic changes necessary... But you should definitely Expedish, regardless.
I maintain that thousands of (admittedly mostly fictional) Chinese masters of the martial arts can't be wrong, and Chinese food is in fact very good for you. And more can only be better...
Yay! Stuff! I'm not sure how wooden-bead armour would work, though - its structure seems to channel blows towards the joins between the beads.
Stars! is quite dull. Most of your work for each turn could easily be automated, but there's no framework for doing so. It's possible Supernova, the sequel, fixes this. That said, I need Wine to work, that I may play Stars!
There is crawly-slow dial-up at home; I'll attempt to mix this with Snowplains at some point over the weekend.
I should stop trying to make up for missed chatter and lose consciousness.
